The trick is to plug it into your TV switching the Red and Yellow jacks (YELLOW is universally used for the Video line, but in this case use the RED jack). Once it is plugged in, you will need to navigate to the appropriate menu on your iPod and select "TV OUT" to be turned on.
Once you do so, you should be able to see your video output on your TV Screen!
